Hi, I'm Dave. I'll help you outsmart the SAT, ACT, GRE, or GMAT so that you can attend the college of your dreams.
My one-on-one and group tutoring sessions are custom designed to each individual and their unique learning style. You’ll learn a thoughtful approach to standardized testing that gets you the results you need.
I met Dave through my San Francisco Urban HS family friends. Dave helped both Ruby and Arlo improve scores with in person & online meetings and study plans. Both kids actually learned with Dave - he located and "filled" knowledge gaps that their rather uneven Oakland Tech teacher path left them with. He clearly knows his stuff and had (I feel) a great way with the kids.
David is patient and able to assess the gaps of the student. He is also very knowledgeable about the SAT test itself and therefore was very targeted in his approach. He was able to get my daughter to do independent practice in between sessions with out being stern or strict. He has a very peaceful Zen like energy and seems put the learner at ease. My daughter felt supported and confident and her score went up considerably. I highly recommend David.
David helped me a lot on the SAT. He helped me reinforce a lot skills that were rusty for me and worked with me until I was solid on all of them. Another thing I really appreciated was how he taught me little tips to get around problems I didn't understand so I could improve my chances of getting as many questions right as possible.
